How can i protect my village from filling the paddy fields..im from India?

education, education, education - what are the benefits of the paddy fields, how do they benefit the community, what will be lost when they are gone, how are they economically important, how are they environmentally important, are there alternative uses (tourism) from keeping them. if you can get a message across with those concepts i think you have a chance! good luck~
