Okay, so I'm writing an Urban fantasy?

Might be a bit extreme if all the demons and warlocks come after one kid who up until now hasn't even bothered to use his powers. Unless there is a prophecy telling the bad guys otherwise I can't see them using their energy on something they view as non-threatening. Now I can see some lower level bad guys throwing themselves at him sort of to prove themselves and reporting back that this kid has some real juice in him either from having been locked up and all that. So maybe killing him will allow some big baddie to absorb his strong unused energy.
