IS it ok if i use urine strips to measure sugar level?

Back before home meters for blood testing, urine testing was the only home option. Unfortunately, it is not an accurate picture of what your blood sugar is because it shows how much has been filtered out of your blood as much as six hours ago, not what is in your blood currently. Personally, I only use the urine strips to test restaurant sodas (it is sometimes hard to tell diet from regular just by taste).
