I'm pregnant and have an appointment with my OB/GYN in a few hours...?

I have to give a first morning's uring sample in my home to bring with me to my appointment. Do i need to refridgerate it until my appointment, or can it be at room temp. I would call my doctor's office, but I have the first appointment of the day and they're not open yet.
