My cat had a urinary catheter removed today and is leaking urine now.?

My cat is 3, and had a full urinary blockage on tuesday of this week. The vet catheterized him and put him on an IV that day, and the catheter was removed on Thursday morning (today). They allowed me to bring him home on thursday evening. I have him in m room with food, water, and litterbox. He is leaking uring and passing small amounts of urine in the box every 20 minutes. The Dr. said this may continue for 3-4 days due to the irritation of being catheterized/healing from the blockage etc. Is that accurate? He has not eaten since Tuesday morning either and seems uninterested in food, except for 4 treats that I enticed him with. Thoughts?
