I was arrested for dui, underage possession, can they add another charge?

I was arrested on St. Paddy's day for the above crimes (I know it's wrong and I'm willing to pay the consequences so don't lecture me, it was stupid, reckless, dangerous, immature, hazardous, ect). Anyways they found my fake ID but didn't charge me w/ having a fake ID, can they add the charge at a later date? I know they can use it as evidence against me in court but can they tack on an extra charge now that my court date is set?
