Is it ok for chinchillas to have moist poop.. please help?

Can chinchillas get worms or not? I have had my chinchilla for 1 week and the other owner used to feed her rabbit pellets.when i got her i started giving her chinchilla pellets and timothy hay. ever since i got her even the day i got her, her poop has been moist. when i hold her i sometimes get her poop stains on my shirt. and sometimes poop gets stuck to her fur and by her vaginal area. please help im in a very bad position. Also, i think her urine smells too, because i will clean the cage and the next day it smells funny and theres uring on the topper shelves.
